Frequently Asked Questions
- What do I really need to start a website?
First, you need to decide what type of site you want to build.
This is a very important first step in a web venture, but it is
far too often overlooked. Surf around the web a bit. Are there
any other sites doing what you want to do? If not, what makes
your idea different?
After you've decided what type of site to build, the next step
is attracting the customers you want. This again is a good time
to surf the Web and see how the market you want to attract is
being sold to.
When you've formulated a marketing plan, the next thing you'll need
is a domain name.
Then, you'll need hosting. In simpler terms, a computer with a fast Internet connection
to put your site's files onto.
- Do template sites come with any kind of customization?
All template sites come with your company name and personalized text on
every page. You still have the same level of control over your content
as with a custom site, without the extra price.
- How fast are you?
We pride ourselves in our ability to finish projects on-time, with an
unparalleled level of accuracy in every aspect. As a general rule,
template sites take less time to create than custom sites. Since custom
sites are, well, custom, timeframes for completion vary according
to the specific project, and sometimes have to be adjusted.
- I don't like my design. Am I stuck with it?
Absolutely not. If, within 2 weeks after the completion of your site,
you're not completely satisfied, let us know and we'll fix it. Our aim
is to build lasting business relationships with our clients. However, we
cannot warrant work done on sites created by us but performed by another
party, even within a 14 day period.
- How do I contact you?
You may contact us at any time by emailing us at
info@web-design-services.com,
or by using the contact form on this site.
- Can I come to visit you?
We are not a brick and mortar store. Doing business over the Internet takes
some getting used to, and usually involves a good bit of trust on both
parties' part. In our years of building websites for our clients, we've never
had a customer service issue that hasn't been successfully resolved.
